 The "Empower DC" Project is comprised of experty written and produced songs to inform and inspire organizing efforts within US Progressive Movement and Culture around the issues of Affordable Housing, Childcare, Education, Public Property, and Community Organizing. The "Empower DC" Project is a not for Profit publication designed to popularize and promote organizing as a way to obtain Justice for People of Culture in Chocolate City and Worldwide!

Healing the Children Northeast

 

I aired an interview with Dana Buffin , the Executive Director of Healing the Children Northeast, and one of the Medical Advisory Committee Members/Surgreons with HTCNE Dr. Manoj Abraham, regarding the Benefit Concert at the Bardavon featuring the Bacon Brothers . I broadcast an interview/poetry reading wth Yuyutsu R.D. Sharma on his recent travels and publications - The Nepal Trilogy, Annapurnas and Stains of Blood: Life Travels and Writing on a Page of Snow,  and Space Cake, Amsterdam, & Other Poems from Europe and America. 

On Saturday January 15 (6:00 pm) - Yuyutsu will be reading from his Helambu book at the Utopian Directions Bookstore at 7 West St in Warwick NY .
