This day I broadcast interviews with the following persons: Lauren Yanks - Part II of our series on the Sex/Slave trade of Nepalese girls. In this segment we spoke about the Kamlari System in Nepal, the work of Michael Hess and the Nepal Orphan's Home, as well as Lauren's role as an educator teaching creative and critical thinking skills along with the principles of self-respect and self-determination. Part 1 was aired last week and can be found at >>
Michael Annis - This is the fourth part of our interview discussing intellectual cross pollination and genetic transfiguration via the word. In this clip Michael discusses his poem cycle "THE HUNGER - 26 WINDOWS IN TRANSPOSITION BETWEEN HEAVEN & HELL," reads a couple of the Windows, and discusses the death of his son from Muscular Dystrophy. The interview is backed by an author approved segment of the Radio Active Lunch F'orchestra's 3.3.2010 performance . Interview with Kathleen Conlee , Director of Program Management , Animal Research Issues with the Humane Society of the United States, regarding the transfer of 202 government-owned chimpanzees to a biomedical research laboratory which is already underway. The government's plan is not only inhumane for the chimpanzees, many of whom have spent decades in laboratories, but also fiscally irresponsible. Please help save these chimpanzees.
