I was joined by musical guest, the unhinged and spirited effervescently divine and delightful Shabbat Rusciolleli - Hudson Valley singer/songwriter - who performed a wonderful selection of heartful originals including all of my personal favorites: Whales Tooth, How Now, Oh Cigarette, and the rest. I aired an interview conducted with Poet and Hinge Theory Founder and Propagator Heller Levinson in which Heller and I discussed Hinge Theory - a revolutionary/transformational linguistic cosmology that will add infinite color and splendor to one's language, one's mind. and one's culture - for those who dare to open their minds in full light of the fact that all transformational and revolutionary paradigms are met with indifference and criticism - if not disdain and ridicule - until it is finally determined through the test of time (and the challenge of other critical minds) that there is an inherent structure elucidated in the new formulation of whatever it happens to be - i.e. a judaic christ expounding and embracing universal human rights 2000 years ago, a swiss patent clerk elucidating the fabric of space time a century ago, or a contemporary poet stumbling upon an inherent structure in the formulation of language and communication which unlocks the manifold creativity in language, culture, and human spirit: hinge is to human nature as anarchy is to politics as agnosticism is to religion. Specifically, Heller and I discussed his book "Smelling Mary" published by Michael Annis' Howling Dog Press. [Note: The second hour of this interview will be aired next week] I also played part of interview with Lawrence Velvel, the Dean of the MA School of Law at Andover, regarding a report published by the Robert Jackson War Crimes Conference he chaired back in September of 2008 regarding War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity, as well as High Crimes and Misdemeanors, of high level Bush Administration officials including illegal spying, torture, illegal wars, manslaughter, etc.
